THEME:  Harnessing the immense potential in the Coast Region byempowering MSMEs through enterprise development

The Ministry of Trade is organizing a Trade Exhibition in Mombasa whose main objective is to offer Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) as well as those undertaking large scale manufacturing operations a unique platform to showcase the immense potential and talent that the Coast Region can offer in terms of goods and services. In addition the event is expected to culminate in bringing out the best from the Coast Region and is tailor made to attract national visibility taking into account the need to tap and exploit the enlarged domestic market following the creation of the EAC Common Market. Market consolidation is another important outcome for those who will participate in the Exhibition.

The services sector is a key plank of the country’s economy and the Coast Region being the gateway into East Africa offers those providing services in Finance and Banking, Specialized Professional Training in Accountancy, Audit, Engineering, Business Management, Information Technology (Undertaken by University and Tertiary Institutions) Tourism, Fashion, Clearing & Forwarding, Shipping with an excellent opportunity to enlighten a discerning clientele.
