 Tender name: PRE-QUALIFICATION OF SUPPLIERS FOR    SUPPLY/PROVISION OF GOODS AND SERVICES FOR FINANCIAL YEAR 2010-2011

Ministry of Trade invites applications for pre-qualification/registration of suppliers for provision of goods and services from interested eligible bidders for the period ending 30th June, 2011 as per the item listing and instructions provided hereunder.  Current goods and services providers should apply afresh.  All applicants must be registered with Kenya Revenue Authority and Registrar of Companies.

CATEGORY A02    Supply of Computers, Software, Consumables, Accessories, Printers, Scanners, Fax     Machines & Photocopiers

CATEGORY A03    Supply of Furniture, Furnishings and Fittings
CATEGORY A04    Supply of Office Equipment
CATEGORY A05    Supply of Telecommunication Equipment
CATEGORY A06    Supply of Staff Uniforms, promotional items e.g T-shirts, caps etc
CATEGORY A07    Supply of Hardware, Electrical Items, Fittings and Electronic Equipment
CATEGORY A08    Supply of Motor Vehicle Tyres, Tubes and Batteries
CATEGORY A09    Supply of Petrol, Oils And Lubricants
CATEGORY A10    Supply of Cleaning Materials, Detergents and Disinfectants

CATEGORY B    PROVISION OF SERVICES

CATEGORY B01    Repair, Service and Maintenance of telecommunication equipment
CATEGORY B02    Repair and maintenance of office furniture
CATEGORY B03    Provision of Air travel and ticketing services (IATA registered firms)
CATEGORY B04    Repair and maintenance of computer equipment, photocopiers and office equipment
CATEGORY B05    Repair and servicing of motor vehicles – only Ministry of Roads and Public Works pre-qualified companies

CATEGORY B6    Provision of Cleaning of Curtains and Nettings
CATEGORY B7    Provision of Printing Services (News Letters, Brochures, Christmas Cards, Banners, Promotional Materials etc)
CATEGORY B8    Internet Service Providers

The Ministry also invite tenders from interested eligible bidders for the supply of Goods/Services for the period ending 30th June, 2011 as listed here below:-

MOT/4/2010 - 2011    Provision of Office Cleaning and Sanitary Services
MOT/5/2010 - 2011    Provision Fumigation and & Pest Control Services
MOT/6/2010 - 2011    Supply of Newspapers, Magazines & Periodicals
MOT/7/2010 - 2011    Provision of Security Guard Services

Tender/Prequalification documents, with relevant details may be obtained from the Ministry, Teleposta Towers, Procurement Office on 17th Floor, Room No.1702 during official working hours , at a non-refundable fee of Kenya Shillings Two Thousand (Ksh.2,000/=) per set of each Category/Tender documents.  

Alternatively, the bidders may download the same from the Ministry’s website www.trade .go.ke (click on the tenders to download )  All payment will be made to the cashier on 16th Floor.

Prices quoted in the Tenders must be net, inclusive where applicable of all taxes and delivery costs within Nairobi area, and expressed in Kenya Shillings.  Prices quoted will remain valid for one hundred and twenty (120) days from the closing date.  Bid securities where required will be as stated in the bid documents and issued from reputable banks and approved insurance firms.

Duly completed Tenders or prequalifications documents, in plain sealed envelopes, without indication of the sender must be appropriately marked Tenders number or Prequalification category number are to be deposited in the Tender Box located on the 17th Floor or posted to:-
