Ghana Delegation Courtesy Call 23rd March, 2023 By Public Communications Unit

Trade PS Alfred K’Ombudo today met with a team led by Ghana’s High Commissioner to Kenya H. E. Damptey Bediako Asare, and discussed strengthening two-way trade between Kenya and Ghana whose bilateral relations date back to the pre-independence period.

The visiting Ghana delegation comprises officials from their Ministry of Trade and Industry, Ghana Export promotion Agency (GEPA) and the National Coordination office of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA.

The team is in the country to understand the dynamics of the Kenyan economy in preparation for an official business delegation expected in Nairobi next month. Ghana also plans to establish an Export Trade Warehouse in Nairobi to showcase and promote their export products to the Kenyan market.
