KEPROBA Board Pays Courtesy Call to PS Trade Regina Ombam

The Board of the Kenya Export Promotion and Branding Agency (KEPROBA) led by Chairperson Jaswider Bedi called on the Principal Secretary for Trade Regina Ombam.

The courtesy call aimed at strengthening collaboration between the State Department and the State Agency to align on strategic priorities to advance Kenya’s export and branding agenda.

In her remarks, PS Ombam emphasized the board's critical role in providing strategic leadership and governance to ensure KEPROBA delivers on its mandate effectively. 

She called on the Board to guide the agency with foresight and integrity and to support initiatives that promote Kenya’s exports and global brand positioning.

The PS reaffirmed the State Department's support to KEPROBA in fulfilling its national mandate.

Bedi highlighted the creation of a conducive environment for export-driven growth ,private sector engagement to expand export markets and enhancing competitiveness as some of the key priorities for the agency.

Other priorities include establishing a robust, well-resourced agency capable of meeting dynamic trade and branding challenges and job creation through export-led industrialization to support the government’s economic transformation agenda.

Bedi also restated the board’s commitment in supporting KEPROBA’s leadership in delivering impactful programs aligned with the national goals.

Floice Mukabana KEPROBA's Chief Executive Officer highlighted the State Department's crucial role in facilitating the agency's operations and strategic positioning.

Mukabana also apprised the PS on Kenya’s participation in the ongoing Osaka Expo outlining key promotional activities undertaken to showcase Kenyan products, attract investment, and enhance Kenya’s visibility on the global stage.
